Conscious of the growing importance of the environmental sustainability of our products, we have embarked on a project that provides for the detailed analysis of Isoltema’s in-house emissions and environmental impacts, with the aim of carrying out a “gate-to-gate” lifecycle analysis of our products and work processes.
Carried out with the support of specialists from the University of Bologna, this project began in January 2023 and will end by Q3/2023.

Even before undertaking comprehensive and structured analysis activities and subsequently making targeted choices designed to improve our environmental sustainability, we have received a bronze medal certificate from EcoVadis, a platform that assesses the sustainability performances of companies, establishing ourselves in the top 25% of companies in our sector.
Assessment is based on international sustainability standards that take into consideration the sector, size and geographical location of companies and divide results into four macro-areas: the environment, working practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable purchases.

Having completed the initial fundamental in-house assessment steps, we will continue with EPD certification of our main “from cradle-to-gate” products.
We envisage completing certification by Q4/2023.

We believe the theme of environmental sustainability is of crucial importance for future generations and for this reason, have decided to carry out dedicated and far-reaching analysis of our environmental impact. This necessarily has certain timescale constraints, but makes it possible for us to achieve concrete and reliable results on which to base our choices going forward.
