The Product
The Vacuum Bags Strips consist of a high-performance sealing butyl rubber compound.
Depending from the service temperature, the compounds available are:
VT RT for low temperature molding up to 130 °C (debulking process);
Yellow Vac for cure cycles up to 180 °C;
VT HT for cure cycles up to 220 °C.

Uses

These preform tapes have been designed for sealing in both “bag to tool” and “bag to bag” applications in ovens and autoclaves.

With aggressive initial tack, the Vacuum Bags Strips mantain an air-tight seal during the cure cycle and the tool clean from the strip, with virtually no trace of residue.

They provide easy de-bagging and minimal or no clean-up between production cycles.
